Our Unique Approach

The Method

Our unique approach to preserving the art of violin, viola, and piano performance stems from a traditional style of teaching that began over 100 years ago in St. Petersburg Russia.

Early education begins with the school’s masterclasses, private lessons with guest artists, student recitals, as well as collaborative student workshops, which challenge students to familiarize with music theory and necessary vocabulary to successfully participate in the given activities. Advancing students must show ability to demonstrate technique and develop skills to teach and communicate complex concepts as they will eventually mentor progressing students.

DISCOVER YOUR POTENTIAL

When students grasp the basics of their musical interests, they feel a sense of pride and confidence in themselves. Our music lessons equip our students to have a solid foundation in their musical ability through language comprehension, analysis, and the art of performance. Students are also guided into developing into well-rounded musicians equipped with leadership, communication, and creative abilities. Our small music school encourages every student to share their learned skills. This allows them to embrace the journey and the values that learning music brings to their mental and social well-being.

The capacity to play music doesn’t start and end with knowing how to play an instrument, but where that music takes you inside yourself.

UNIQUE EDUCATION

SoundSync is proudly advised by Alla Aranovskaya. Ms. Alla Aranovskaya has more than 30 years of teaching and international professorships. We started our school in 2019 and proudly presented our very first recital in September of the same year. Our founder, owner, and main instructor is Rinna Mai, is a nationally recognized music teacher. Rinna Mai is the main instructor at the school, but guest artists also frequently offer classes.

Our method of pedagogy for violin and viola program is passed down from the long lineage of Leopold Auer.  When you become part of Soundsync, you are becoming part of a tradition and an international family made of living descendants of Leopold's legacy. The unique blend of performance emphasis as well as music analysis helps cultivate focused students who learn to read beyond what is in front of them and consider the historical elements of how classical music evolved to be.
